As a little pre-event taster, Insurance Innovators has invited five insurtech disruptors to take to the virtual stage to showcase their innovative products and services. Get to grips with the latest innovations, be inspired by new entrants and keep up to date with competitors in this fast-paced session. Following the pitches, four pundits will discuss what has been shared by the insurtechs, offering their own thoughts, comments and ideas.

Pitch 1 | Eusoh

Joining the ranks of the sharing economy, Eusoh decentralizes the insurance industry, with a specifc focus on the pet insurance market. Eusoh connects communities allowing them to cover one another for unexpected financial losses. Eusoh provides its members with the tools necessary to transact directly, by giving access to scaling, diversification, a promise-to-pay, and administration of losses through its patent-pending platform.

Pitch 2 | Kiwi Insure

Kiwi brings episodic on-demand injury insurance and innovates on distribution via social media analytics to meet customers wherever they are.

Pitch 3 | BondAval

BondAval is a B2B insurtech startup based in London who have recently closed a $1.64m seed funding round, backed by Insurtech Gateway, TrueSight Ventures and a series of prominent angel investors. Founded by former international rugby captain Tom Powell, and Sam Damoussi, the company is aiming to bring a fairer solution to the world of B2B payment security, using innovation and technology to democratise access to the best credit solutions.

Pitch 4 | InsuranceMenu

InsuranceMenu works with carriers to streamline distribution. It offers a dynamic, data-driven platform geared toward local insurance agents, creating process efficiencies while bringing insurers closer to the customer. Through this InsuranceMenu empowers agents to service clients with a diversified portfolio of products that truly covers their needs.

Pitch 5 | handdii

handdii aims to revolutionize the claims experience – seeking to build respectful and trusting relationships between the contractor, the customer and the insurer. handdii is a platform where contractors can easily connect, engage and promote their businesses, insurers can experience reduced costs and customers can get their property insurance repairs done more easily and cheaply through a ratings system, which drives transparency.
